Reedle Shot 100: the “step zero” essence with Cica Reedle
VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 is the everyday version of VT’s Reedle Shot: a translucent white essence that the brand calls “step zero”, the first thing to go on clean skin in the evening, with the rest of your routine left unchanged. This listing has two sizes: a 50 ml bottle and a 2 ml sample. Its signature ingredient is Cica Reedle, VT’s own complex of fine mineral silica particles and centella asiatica extract. According to VT, the particles gently stimulate the skin and help the serums and creams that follow absorb better; tingling as it goes on is normal. VT doesn’t explain the number in the name, but the rule is simple: the higher it is, the more Cica Reedle and the less often you use it. 100 is for daily use; Mild 50 is gentler, 300 and 700 are stronger.

How to use
In the evening, on a clean face right after cleansing: take the amount you need and press it in with your fingertips. Once it has sunk in, follow with your usual moisturizer, or with the serum whose effect you want to boost. Reedle Shot 100 can be used every day, but not on the same evening as Reedle Shot 300 or 700. For less tingling, start with a small amount and use a toner before it or a moisturizer after. Do not use it with LED masks or other beauty devices, right after a dermatologist’s treatment, or on damaged skin. If you’ll be out in the sun afterwards, wear sunscreen.
