Belif looks back to a herbalist. Duncan Napier opened his herbal shop in Edinburgh in 1860 and spent a lifetime writing down what plants could do; the shop still stands as the oldest herbal apothecary in Scotland. Belif works from that record, running old preparations through modern extraction — oat seed, calendula, catnip, raspberry, wild indigo, chickweed. It sets itself five promises and calls them true: ingredients, formula, safety, benefit, and lasting rather than fashionable. Packaging is kept deliberately plain.
