Pyunkang Yul did not start as a cosmetics project. It came out of the Pyunkang Korean Medicine clinic, which over fifty years has treated more than a hundred and fifty thousand people for chronic skin conditions — atopic dermatitis, acne. The doctors there found that prescribed medicine alone was not enough. In the name, pyun means comfort, kang health and yul balance: the best balance for comfortable, healthy skin. The formulas take that literally, with no fragrance and no colourant, only what is necessary, so the skin can do its own repairing. Astragalus root, fermented black tea, mugwort. Everything is made in Korea.
