Collagen Peel-Off Wrapping Mask with 300 Da Collagen and Lactobacillus Ferment for Pores
Medi-peel Red Lacto Collagen Wrapping Mask is a wrapping mask: not a sheet, but a gel you spread over the face that dries into a transparent film and is then peeled off by hand. In the brand's words, a mask you apply, with low-molecular collagen smaller than the pore itself, for pore tightening, moisture and elasticity in one go: "hydrates, tightens pores and lifts for glowing skin". Lactobacillus ferment, the Lacto in the name, is the ingredient the brand credits with tightening pores. For the best result the brand suggests the toner, ampoule and cream of its own Red Lacto Collagen line before the mask.
Key Active Ingredients
- Low-molecular collagen (300 Da) — hydrolysed collagen extract, first on the ingredient list; "smaller than the pore itself", so it reaches into the pore.
- Lactobacillus ferment — helps tighten pores.
- Hyaluronic acid — sodium hyaluronate, sodium acetylated hyaluronate and hydrolysed hyaluronic acid, for moisture and the moisture barrier.
- Jojoba seed oil — second on the ingredient list.
Skin Type
All skin types. Avoid the eye area; do not apply to damaged skin.
How to Use
Finish your usual routine first, toner and cream included: the mask goes after the last step, not instead of it, so the skin does not feel dry. Take a mound the size of a large coin (the brand says a 500-won coin, about a 10-dinar coin) and spread it over the whole face, avoiding the eyes and lips. Wait 20–30 minutes until the layer turns into a transparent film and nothing comes off on your finger; the time depends on your skin and the room. Do not rinse with water: the brand wants the key ingredients to keep working, so peel the film off by hand, slowly, from the edges. If the skin feels dry afterwards, add a little more care. The brand recommends 2–3 times a week, though daily use is fine too. Light activity with the mask on is fine; a sweaty workout is not.
